Hey Shady look who showed up

It's a girl. She showed up Friday and is very loving but also malnourished. Linda plans to cut some of the too long matted hair off of her soon. Although she is about 3 times the size of Rocky they seem to get along fairly well when Rocky is outside. She has been gobbling up left overs and hopefully she will start filling out where you now feel bones. Time will tell but between us and Linda's mother behind us she will get some attention that she has been lacking for quite some time. No name yet.

  1. That's a super cute dog, Odie. You and Linda are wonderful people for opening your door and your hearts to this animal in need. I hope Rocky will enjoy the company. Please keep us posted about your new arrival. Happy Sunday, good buddy!

  2. Aaaw, she's gorgeous, my friend. That's lovely that you and Linda have adopted her. Wonder where she came from? I hope Rocky won't mind an interloper in the house! Hopefully, they will be company for each other. Keep us posted!

  4. Aww, You know I am loving this post! She looks like a sweet dog. I am glad you are taking care of her and now Rocky has a playmate! I like the names Sasha or Sophie. (or Lola!)

  5. Oh, Odie! What a little cutie she is and you have no idea how happy I am to hear you and Linda have decided to offer her a home! There are so many 'lost' dogs roaming the streets around this planet of ours. We watched the most marvellous documentary this evening, "Man Created Dog". Wonder whether you have seen it? Not only are dogs our best friends and most loyal companions, but they are amazingly adept at assisting us in so many ways. Your little girl will bring you much joy yet! Please keep her story coming, so we can share in her physical and emotional healing. Big hug for you both XOXO

  12. She is so lucky to have found you and Linda! When I took our new kitten, Smokey, to the vet the first time she said "They seem to know who to go to when they need a home." So true and Soffie picked a great home! This warms my heart. God Bless you and Linda for taking her in and giving her the TLC she needed.
