I enjoyed your latest fireside chat, Odie! (LOL) I'm sorry Rocky got the sniffles this morning. Those antibiotics must have helped because he looked good in the video. My Toto responds well to antibiotics. Toto experiences separation anxiety just like your dogs do when you're not around. When I run out to the store for 15 minutes and return home Toto greets me like I've been gone for a year. I'm glad both of your dogs got some camera time. Also glad to know that Aunt Katie's doing better and that Polly's happy. Have a great weekend, good buddy!
I enjoyed hearing what is going on in your world, odie. I especially like your accent. It reminds me of my family in South Carolina. I don't get to see them much. Your puppies are just the sweetest little babies! I love their gentle faces. Have a great weekend!
I agree with Shady my friend. That really was a lovely little fireside chat. I so wish that our other bloggy friends would do likewise!! I agree with you about the time it takes to upload. When I did the first one, it was taking about three hours!!! Luckily my son in law was here, and he edited the size (I think he said he chose iPhone size), and it was SO much quicker, and it didn't seem to affect the quality of the video at all. It's good that we're keeping up with all this new technology at OUR age!! Hee Hee! Glad to hear that Aunt Katie is hope from hospital again. Hope little Rocky feels better soon. He's certainly very happy in front of the camera. Have a lovely weekend and enjoy that wonderful weather over there. We've had almost constant rain since the family have been here from France, whereas this time last year they were at the beach all day. Take care.
Hi my friend! Your comment this morning meant a lot to me. While watching this video today i was wondering if you were happy and enjoying retirement or if it's driving you crazy? Not being nosy just seemed a little sad.. Glad your Aunt Katie got home hope she continues to do better. :)
Odie, I really enjoyed watching this and hearing your voice. When you mentioned the bumblebees, I was jumping in my seat because we have been having the same issues with them here. No stinging but lots of wood boring going on and they tend to hover near our heads when we're on our back porch. They can be so annoying! We don't have a dog anymore. Hawkeye went back to live with his original family when we moved here. We were fostering him for them after our own dog died and our friends then had to move from their house to an apartment and didn't have a yard for him. They have a house with a yard now so he moved back with them when we moved here. I imagine if he was here those bees would be causing him a great amount of grief just like they are causing your furbabies, but our cat, Smokey, enjoys chasing them and I've seen her tear them apart. I'm afraid she'll get stung but so far that hasn't happened. I'm glad to hear that your Aunt Katie is home again. It was really nice seeing you.
Those are not bumblebees, they are carpenter bees if they are boring into the wood. Bumblebees good, carpenter bees, bad! Be careful they are not boring into the house.
Ogie, my sweet friend I always enjoy your vlogs!! We have a pest control guy stopping by tomorrow to try and help get rid of our terrible wasp problem. It is just awful! As soon as I walk outside they start diving into my hair! There are thousands of them. We had a lot of trouble with them last year so this year w are trying to get ahead of the game.Smooches!
Loved your chat today. I hope Rocky will be feeling chipper soon. I hang paper wasps nests around our yard and the bees go away. It frightens them off. I buy them at Walmart. It is beautiful here today also. I'm enjoying the sunshine streaming in the window. I'm busy drawing cartoons. Love and hugs to you.
Great to hear your voice, I like your "doggy" voice too!
I'm catching up on blogs, I got behind, it just takes a couple fussy baby days and I'm behind.
I have a package for you, I just need a few minutes to actually wrap it and address it so I can send it off...it's been a month!! Sorry! I'll surprise you when you need it most maybe!

ReplyDeleteHey Odie, thanks for the mention! I am delighted that you liked your postcard, the Great Postcard Campaign is a lot of fun :) Loving the vlog X
ReplyDeleteI do hope Rocky is feeling better. I think I have had the same thing, especially the part about hardly being able to open my eyes. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the lovely card you sent me. Yours from my lottery will be on its way very soon, when I can stagger to the mail box.
Yay Aunt Katie!
