Nature Walk

This video is all about some things I see while out walking with the dogs and in it I mention a plant that is edible. I looked it up and it is actually called "Oxalis" and can be added to salads or even boiled to make a drink that is similar to lemonade. Now on to the video.

  1. I wonder if Soffie spotted a snake at the edge of the woods? I hope she doesn't grab a poisonous serpent with her teeth. There's a road less than a mile from my house that has a sign posted "turtle crossing." It's a busy road and the sign doesn't do much good. Quite a few turtles get run over trying to cross. Thanks for the nature walk, Odie!

  3. Hi Odie. Soffie girl looks in such good condition now, doesn't she? Thank goodness you have given her such a good home my friend, along with little Rocky. Like you, I love this time of the year - all the greenery just looks so vivid, doesn't it. Really enjoyed going on your little walk with you today, and hearing those golden tones again! I'm with Linda, I just love Turtles. That sure was a little tiny baby one. Hope you're having a good weekend. Hugs.

  6. It was relaxing walking through nature with you today, Odie. Sophie and Rocky look wonderful. I always admire people who know about plants - which ones to eat etc. I also love turtles and we have them in all our ponds in these parts. They love to sun themselves on logs. God bless.
