Let's go to Roanoke Rapids

Contrary to possible ideas that I had vanished from blogland I am back. Just haven't had the proper inspiration for a blog lately and I wouldn't call today's blog inspiration but at least it's Odie. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

  2. For the first few seconds before you started narrating I thought I was watching World's Wildest Police Chases! (LOL) That's a big 10-4, good buddy. I took the full ride with you and it was fun. The scenic route is always the best because you can truly see America. Thanks, Odie!

  5. Hi Odie. I had missed you, I must admit! Sometimes it's like that with blogging, and we struggle to come up with something a bit different. I have noticed that several people seem to be having a little break at the moment. It certainly is a lovely area all around where you live. I agree, it's much better to try to take the scenic route to places. Take care.

  9. I love going on drives through new places and this was lovely. It is so fun to see where you live. I noticed when I traveled in the Southern states how beautiful the banks and businesses were - like yours, they were brick houses with pillars. I think that is so nice. Soybeans and cotton; here we grow all different kinds of fruit:apples, pears, strawberries etc. The air here in the summer smells sweet with fruit. When I lived in Alberta, it was all wheat and cattle. The world is an interesting place!

  10. Odie, I'm in agreement with you on your last post...Love the sinner, hate the sin, that's what I believe. It is the act that is wrong, we are all sinners, we all have struggles. It is grace that will help us to not "act" on those things that are wrong and sinful. It is our individual crosses, our sins that we must try to avoid. Our goal is heaven. That is our purpose in being here on earth, to love and glorify God.

    God bless you Odie.
