Thankful Thursday

I am truly thankful this morning for the awesome God that loves me even though I fail Him in many ways as I travel down life's road. His unconditional love is so precious.
I am thankful that I had a very close encounter with a large deer on the interstate this morning and we are both still unharmed.
I am thankful that in only "3" days Linda and I will be stepping onto the beautiful Carnival Glory for a week of renewal and relaxation.
I am thankful for my family that now includes my blog friends. I feel like I really know new friends from various parts of the world that have shared joys, sorrows, talents and compassion. One of these friends shared a verse the other day that I also want to end with today.
"Clean the slate, God so we can start the day fresh!
Keep me from stupid sins,
from thinking I can take over your work;
then I can start this day sun-washed,
scrubbed clean of the grime of sin.
These are the words in my mouth;
these are what I chew on and pray.
Accept them when I place them on the morning altar,
O God, my Altar-Rock, God, my Priest-of-my-Altar."
Psalm 19:12-14 (Message)

    Isn't it great how these crazy blogs bring together people who probably would have never met in real life. All of my blog friends are such an encouragement to me! <3
