Tribute to Ali's Dad
This is a tribute to Ali's dad that was so special to me I wanted to keep it where I could go back to it on my blog. Ali is Alexia over at The Mommy Rambles and a good friend. Her sister did this tribute and it is so touching.
How sad for that family. I appreciate the message though. What a beautiful way to express something so painful. I still have a hard time even talking about my dad, much less his battle with cancer and how it affected our family.
Oh, my gosh Odie, you should have put a warning on there to go grab a whole box of Kleenexes!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was so beautiful. So very beautiful. My biggest fear with so many children, is death. Of any of us.
Very special, very touching, Odie. Thank you for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this with us, Odie. It really was very touching - what a lovely tribute. I am quite tearful as I type this, my friend.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful story of a father and daughter's love. Thanks, Odie.

Odie you make me cry a bucket:(
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing such a beautiful story.
That's such a beautiful tribute. It's wonderful how she managed to find meaning in her father's death.
ReplyDeleteMeaning that elude most people.
:-)
I love her perspective and her outlook on his death. Truly touching.
ReplyDeleteI would go back and wish my Dad alive again, although I had my Dad much longer, because I like the person he raised me to be.
Her Mom is a strong, wonderful woman to be able to raise such amazing kids in light of the darkness. Bravo.
