Today I am thankful for our pets that add peace, love and calm to our days especially when the stress level has been really high. All they require in return is our love and they are beyond happy. Of course the first picture is my Rocky who will be 2 next month. He has made a real difference in our home and we love him soooooooooooooo much.
The other dogs pictured are part of my daughter Karen's zoo. She has 3 outside dogs and 1 inside dog as well as 2 cats that have their own room upstairs. Max her oldest cat is 16 and still doing fine. The black dog with the collar is Molly, queen of the house and a real sweetheart.
The kitten at the end is new to our home and is an outside cat that has done really well during our current blizzard. Her name is Lilley.
Have you hugged your pet today? You should, frequently.
Look at little Rocky - love his ears!! Your daughter obviously loves her animals, and the little kitten is so cute. Lovely photos, Odie. Anything (or one) that can help to keep the stress levels down, sounds good to me!
ReplyDeleteWell, Rocky is just huggable. Animals are a good thing to be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely hug my doggies every day. I have one lap dog and one that thinks he is a [120 lb] lap dog - so they are in my lap often.
ReplyDeleteLove your pups and such a friendly kitty.
I frequently hug Toto, my Cocker Spaniel. She's getting up in years (mid 70's dog years) and has health issues and it will make me very sad when I lose her. All my life I have been drawn to dogs. As I have stated before, when I look at a dog I see God.
ReplyDeleteI love love love your kitten!

ReplyDeleteWe rescue cats and have a ton of them. Wishing you and all the critters a wonderful new year. Love the kitten.
ReplyDeleteIt's so true that pets can bring calm and peace. Ours is a very gentle indoor cat and his presence soothes me right away - apart from when he is helping me with the printer....
ReplyDeleteYes! I probably hug Chocolate a little too hard. Lovely post!
