Today I am thankful for the newness of life and the promise of spring found in our Bradford Pear Trees. My area is literally covered with them and they are all in full bud at this time and in a day or two they should be in full bloom like the ones above taken from Googles picture bank. It's amazing how something this simple could have such an impact on how I feel but it sure does. Praise God from whom "all" blessing flow. Praise Him all creatures here below
Odie, I am so jealous!! We have Bradford Pears here too, but they will not be blooming for a good while, at least the end of the month I am thinking. Raquel
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't take a Rolls Royce to make people happy, Odie. All they need to do is stop and smell the roses and behold the budding pear trees!
ReplyDeleteOh Odie, I do so agree with you. Everything is just starting off afresh right now, and in a couple of weeks it will all be looking wonderful. Praise Him indeed for the beauty of all His creation. Hope all is well with you my friend.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am trying to not be jealous....I love Spring trees!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have beautiful trees coming.....in like 2 months, really, not til May.
It will be time for the cherry blossoms [in DC] to bloom soon. One of my favorite things to see near us.
ReplyDeleteI am ready for some spring!
No blooms here yet but I'm waiting (and none too patiently!) I love the Bradfords as well. Also the forsythia, which also signify spring to me and the cherry blossoms. It is definitely a natural mood elevator! Thanks for the pix and the reminder to hang in there!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous trees! I'm looking forward to the apple orchards being in bloom here.
ReplyDeleteBradford Pears are beautiful, but they stink so bad! The first time I had them close to me, I marched over to the Apartment Office and asked them what the tree was called. she said why? I said, "Because I need to know so I don't accidentally plant them in my yard one day. They stink!" Glad you are enjoying them.
ReplyDeletethose are beautiful trees, can't wait for spring.
ReplyDeleteWow.....they are so beautiful....and yes, definitely makes us thankful...
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful here. Blooms everywhere. I love it. It feels so alive.
ReplyDeleteThese trees are amazing!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend xx
