I love unspoiled wilderness and that swamp picture is enchanting, Odie. Do you recall Heather (T.J. Hooker) Locklear's close encounters with Swamp Thing?
Yes I do Shady and I have seen so many swamp related movies. NC is literally full of swamps along our roadways. I pass this one everyday on my way home. There is danger in there due to snakes but beauty as well.
Thank you for your lovely comments and good wishes for my birthday. Very much appreciated!
This is the most wonderful photograph...water, trees, reflections...always a magical combination. Clicking on the larger version is such a treat, as I'm instantly transported right into the scene. Isn't it super the way we can share so much beauty with each other and, for that short moment when we're visiting and enjoying each other's posts, we have a fleeting sense of being far away in both time and space...I'm sure the cummulative effect is as good as a holiday (at least for the soul!)
No words needed indeed, dearest Odie. I hope you are having a wonderful midweek so far. Your comment made me smile ear-to-ear, thank you very much. Enjoy the rest of your day, mine is coming to an end. We are expecting some lovely and warm weather the upcoming days. Will be outside a lot!
Beautiful photo Odie! I love the reflections in the water. Hope all is well over there with you my friend.
ReplyDeleteYou say swamp and I find myself looking for alligators...

Some people call it a swamp, your photograph makes it a reflection pool. Very lovely!
ReplyDeleteAre you sure there isn't a python in there, Odie? I've been on a boat in the Everglades and loved every minute. Lovely photo!
