It's true, it really works. I was looking around at Pinterest one day and saw a photo where someone had put green onion roots in water and grew more green onions so the other day I was cutting up some and decided to try it. When I started it was just the white part and look at all the green I have now. I keep it by my kitchen window to get sunlight. Give it a try.

ReplyDeleteToo bad my kiddos don't like onions...we did do that with carrot tops a couple years ago, that works too, but it doesn't grow more carrot, just carrot top!
