Was out in the yard Sunday with the dogs and enjoyed seeing the signs of spring everywhere. The second picture is a growth that covers a wide area on our property & is I think some form of clover. I guess the lawn service will be here soon to do the first cutting for the season. The third picture is of a growth of a very soft moss that is do tiny and delicate. I have always loved moss in it's various types. And last of course is the first flower we usually see around spring in NC. I love that yellow.
And what would a blog from Odie be without a picture of Rocky.
The expression on ole Rocky's face tells me he doesn't care too much for flowers, Odie. I'm thinking he'd prefer something that smells better... like a cow pie! (LOL)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're enjoying Spring in your newly retirement!! :) Rocky too!
ReplyDeleteLoved that video from Shady too.
Two great reasons to look at your blog today- beautiful flowers and cute Rocky!
ReplyDeleteThat yellow is wonderful! It always amazes me the colors found in nature. He painted quite a colorful canvas for us.
ReplyDeleteRocky is a cute little nugget. :)
We don't have flowers in my yard yet, Odie. Still too cold. I had to wear gloves and scarf today. Rocky looks very cute. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteOh I love daffodils. Definitely make me think of spring
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is wonderful to see all the signs of spring appearing around us. I just love to see the daffodils. They always look so cheerful and sunny. I love to see a photo of Rocky. He's so cute, and it's those ears that do it for me!!! Enjoy your first week of not working my friend.
ReplyDeleteRocky is looking so wistful and thoughtful. I'll bet he's loving having his Dad home every day! It's such a wonderful feeling when spring arrives. Even more so for you, now you get to enjoy it every day! Bet every day has never tasted as sweet, hey Odie?
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited Spring is on the way. I'm worried it is just a trick though and that we will wake up to snow! Can I just scream for a second? I'M READY SPRING!!! Oh sorry I didn't wait for your permission. :)
ReplyDeleteI always expect to see or hear about Rocky! Nice pictures. It is getting closer to warm weather daily isn't it?
ReplyDeleteDear Odie,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your kind words on my post for Holden. I know you understand how hard it is to lose our furry family members. Your kind words go far in helping my heartache.
Hugs~
PS I hope your retirement is going gangbusters!
We are enjoying the spring here too! I love the sight of dandylions. It vexes my neighbor who would not like to have the seeds of our weeds floating onto his lush carpet of immaculate green grass. I don't go to extraordinary measures to stop their growth.
ReplyDeleteI just love the signs of spring. They are starting here too.
