Today I am thankful that North Carolina is being blessed with no storms, cyclones, snow, ice or any terrible calamities. Being able to enjoy time outside with Rocky, seeing the ground and thinking of even greater times ahead. I pray for all my friends that are in harms way with the floods & cyclones in Australia and the snow/ice in other parts of our blog world. Praying that you stay safe & warm.
Lovely post Odie, and, yes, we have so much to be thankful for when you see what is happening in other parts of the world.
ReplyDeleteBesides the weather wishes Odie [I am so happy no one has died in Australia, that is incredible] I think we should be thankful this country isn't feeling the unrest and chaos that is happening in Egypt. We are very lucky and thankful, indeed.
ReplyDeleteI like Rocky. He's a cutie. :)
This is a great lesson, Odie. In the midst of winter a mere patch of exposed earth can bring joy and hope. The world might seem like a "ball of confusion" as the Temptations once sang. There's trouble and misery everywhere. There's also an abundance of beauty and good and if you look for it you are bound to find it.
ReplyDeleteNo snow? I am jealous! We've got a lot over here, although I am very grateful that I will be driving on clear roads to work tonight!
ReplyDeleteWe are very lucky here in the USA. No doubt. Even the snow as bad as it is, can be dealt with.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw it was Thursday I was thankful. Only one more week till payday. I was also very Thankful no one died in Australia. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWell hopefully West Virginia will get the hint from North Carolina and move on to Spring :-)
ReplyDeleteCute picture of Rocky!
ReplyDeleteGood post Odie :)
